Alhamdulillah, I discovered the Tarbiyah model, that doesn’t just focus on teaching kids to correct their behavior but gives the structure to build motivation in them to change their heart leading to elevating their actions.
But I don’t want Emaan Power to become another Islamic school. We have plenty of them and it's not really working out, kids are mostly bored with the traditional modes of teaching, that they can’t relate with.
I also don’t want to be a platform where kids are just learning and building a database of knowledge in their head while their actions are still the same…
I knew it's time to think really out of the box!
Moreover, at the same time, how do we make it an experience so enjoyable that they themselves are rushing to grow..
Gamification: A New Approach
First, let me clarify. This is NOT a game, however we use a GAME-LIKE approach to help children progress in becoming unshakeable muslim.
I know two things kids love the most... friends and games :)

Btw did you know my very first job… was a games programmer
No, we didn’t create a game… but close… I didn’t really see a purpose in an Islamic game. A game can be good halal fun, but is it changing character? I don’t think so...
Games though are not just about great graphics, animations, there is a psychology at play here. Why can’t we use the same in educating our children?
What if we gamified the process of becoming an unshakeable Muslim?
So that’s what I did!
At first, I thought okay, you know the same standard, points, badges, certificates... But umm that's not fun!
I knew if we have to do this, we must do it right!
So, I buried my head back into the books about gamification! I went to the kids and had detailed discussions with them about it.
And I came up with an app to deliver our Unshakeable Muslims Program….
